The Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician course concentrates on technical procedure for successfully completing the restoration of a fire and smoke damaged environment.


The IICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration course will take you through the principals of fire & smoke damage and how to restore the property to its pre-loss condition. Hands-on aspects of the course will take you through how to restore and deodorise contents & structural damage, how to deal with soot residue, and the different restoration techniques including ultrasonics, ozone and HVAC cleaning.

If you are are looking to update your skills and existing knowledge or are new to the industry and want to learn a new skill set, the FSRT course is the core skills course to do so professionally.

Sit the optional exam at the end of this course to gain your IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician Certification upon successful completion. All exam fees are payable directly to IICRC on the day of the exam.
