IICRC Water Restoration Technician

The Water Damage Restoration Technician course is designed to teach restoration personnel that perform remediation work, better concepts of water damage, it’s effects and techniques for drying of structures.

The IICRC Water Damage Restoration Course (WRT) is great for people who are starting out in the industry as a restoration technician or for those who are already completing water damage restoration works.. This course gives you a thorough understanding of water damage restoration and best practice procedures for completing jobs.

 

 

The WRT course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer back flows, and contamination such as mould.

 

  • Gain the skills to dry wall interiors, wood flooring, duct work, insulation & crawl spaces

  • Develop procedures to deal with clean water loss & unsanitary loss

  • Understand psychometry and how to use it.

 

 

Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform water remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

Sit the optional exam at the end of this course to gain your IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician Certification upon successful completion. All exam fees are payable directly to IICRC on the day of the exam.

*Please note it is a requirement of the IICRC that the Water Restoration Course be completed prior to sitting the Applied Microbial Remediation Course.*
